JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Ambulatory Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) is a strategic clinical leader responsible for advancing strategic integration, operational excellence, and professional development of APPs practicing in Eskenazi Health ambulatory settings including Eskenazi Health Center (EHC) and the Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center (SEMHC) sites. This individual develops, implements and maintains comprehensive operational support and supervision structures for APPs within their assigned scope of responsibility. The Director works in close partnership with EHC and SEMHC leadership including CMOs, Chief Provider Executives, medical directors, nursing leadership, and operational teams to support high-performing care delivery teams that align with the organizational mission and vision by providing equitable, high-quality, and sustainable clinical care. Critical components of success in this role are collaboration with the EHC and SEMHC leadership teams to ensure consistency, equity, and professional development across the APP workforce and to ensure that APPs are practicing to the full extent of their license and within their scope of practice, as defined by the pertinent governing bodies.
